An affirmation, not a purchase
Membership of VSI is an affirmation of commitment to its vision, values and public purpose — neither a reward for financial contribution nor a status to be purchased, but an invitation to participate in the stewardship of an institution created for education, skill development, research, innovation and service.
Custodians of a public trust
Every Member shall place VSI’s interests above personal, sectional or organisational interests and avoid using membership for private advantage — acting as custodians of a public trust, fostering informed dialogue, encouraging excellence and preserving institutional independence.
